Kids

My son now recognizes my bottles of seltzer as "Momma's cup" as opposed to wine glasses. If we went some where and saw a wine glass - he would shout out - "That's Momma's" - I used to try and believe that was funny, but it really just makes me sad. Today is a great day! I hope everyone is making the best of it!

Yes, kids are far more observant than we give them credit for. But they will also notice your efforts to be sober too, keep up the good work!

When I applied for a job my daughter told my boyfriend to get a babysitter that is not by the bar so they would not drink, and that killed me. I thought I had her fooled, but apparently I was a fool for believing that. Kids are very observant.

Kids notice far more than we want to believe and are far more likely to blurt out embarrassing truths because they have no filters. Well done on switching "mommy" cups.

U know what. I couldn't drunk myself to death. But seeing my kids. No way. They are the reason I'm here.
