Sober baby
 

Well I did it! The love of my life came into the world at 2.54 this morning weighing 5 pounds 13.

Baby Jude.

He is all I could ever have wished for. Being a sober mum is all I want to give him now as well as a heap load of love.

Still in hospital but had to tell the people who have helped me the most.

Congrats foolsgold, mine was born 4 months ago and I remember well that proud feeling like it was yesterday. I don't know if it's your first or not but that first time you look at a baby that is yours it is a really amazing experience.

Congratulations on staying sober all through your pregnancy and good luck with you're new arrival, they're worth every bit of lost sleep.

Congratulations on your precious gift! Having my kids growing up never having to deal with my disease was and is a Godsend. I've been able to enjoy both the ups and downs of raising children while sober. And, to truly enjoy just what a gift it is.
