Day 1 again

Still in bed with a hangover. Day 1 begins again. I am such a drunk. Yesterday would have been day 3 completed...for some reason I had some fast food for dinner and its like a switch turned on. I convinced myself immediately that because I had junk food for dinner, getting drunk on top of that would be fine because I already was consuming crap for the evening. Wtf?

Do rehabs even care about binge drinkers? I wonder if I should just suck up the shame and go to one

I myself have never went to rehab, yet I am sure they are experienced with all types of drinkers ect.

If you feel it would help you.....GO!

It can't hurt!

Good Luck.....

Hi, Scared; I have no experience with rehab but if you are finding it difficult or impossible to stay sober, exploring rehab options sounds like a wise move. Have you spoken to your doctor about your drinking; he could be a good first step in locating rehab facilities.

Sending support and encouragement.

There is no shame in getting help.

Yes, treatment centers do care about binge drinkers.

Don't beat yourself up, take it as a learning experience and realize that the alcohol tricked you into believing that junk food story.

I'm glad you're here.

Binge drinkers can definitely be alcoholics too.

Wow I so relate to that tendency of "since I ate junk food, I might as well drink"
Or smoke, or never exercise again, .my addict brain does that

Yeah, my diet affects me tremendously as well. I think it's because I'm in my 30s now, and my family is rife with diabetes. I'm not diabetic yet, but I can feel it there, if that makes any sense.

If I ever screw up and order pizza or something, then I'll be out of it for a couple days. I need to ensure to always eat healthy, and need my veggies and greens with every meal.
