Introduction
Hello I'm a New Comer to this site, but not to recovery.
My name is Dan Anderson I'm an alcoholic/addict/aca/codependent from Kenora Ontairo Canada and I haven't found it necessary to take a drink or do any drugs since May 4th 1988.
I've also been dealing with my other issues for about 12 years now.
I'm grateful to be alive and glad you are here for people like me.

Welcome to SR Dan, you'll find a lot of support here.
A lot of us prefer to be careful about releasing personal details on the Internet. If you'd like to edit some of your details in your message above send a PM to Anna or Dee74. You can do that by clicking on Private Messages under your name in the top right hand corner of the screen.

Hi Dan, and welcome to SR. 
I'd like to reiterate what Marcher13 said though. I do online security for a living, and it's generally not wise to put that amount of personal details into a single post. We don't need to know your last name, nor the exact city you live in. You may want to contact Dee74 or Anna, and ask them to edit those personal details out.
Not to mention, this thread will be indexed by Google, so anyone who searches for your name in the future will likely find this thread.
