this is hard its rough

heck its the worst every, just going to stay sober today. I could tell you about my cravings, but really this about being positive. Went to a meeting tonight and now, here I am desperate life a fish to drink. Crazy habit, but I am going to make it. I know I will.

I got an invite to a BBQ on Tuesday, I told them I have no cash and no nothing to offer, they were like this BBQ is for you, we will pick you up and you have to come you're the guest of honor. So on tuesday some good eats and meeting new people.

Hey... I'm just a newbie too (less than 12 hrs in lol) so I don't have much useful advice or anything. But I'm toughing it out right now too so hang in with me.

I feel like something the cat dragged in, but I also feel in control, and that feels good.

Good for you for continuing this journey! I also like the sound of the get-together with your friends from AA. Nothing like a summer meal together in the sunshine!
