Question, thanks, and why would I ever forget it?

What do we know about, that works patiently, continuously, at all hours of the day & night, to help alcoholics and addicts, friends and family who are struggling with abuse and dependence, to reach a point of readiness?

Thanks Anna, Dee, MorningGlory, Emily, all the other mods, greeters and admins, and all who do service to this wonderful forum.

I second that!

I've spent more time on SR as a member than a greeter. And even as a greeter I still feel more like a member...and I am thankful not only to the mods but everyone. SR is really about the collective to me.

Thanks guys. I'm not looking for personal thanks.

The last few days have been the scene of a lot of negativity on SR and I simply want to get SR back to a more positive place.

courage2 04-26-2015 01:38 PM

It's not personal, Anna, and it is. We (some of us (blush)) can be a pain in the a## to you administrators. What do you expect, we're not pros at this recovery thing! :)

But more, like Scott said, it's a collective. The forums (and notice I restrict to the forums, and from now) are a small fall of grace, somehow sustained by us all, a "we" I'm very fortunate to be a part of.

Well, I guess my irate post on LBrain's thread shows that the last few days have taken a toll on me personally.

And, yes, as Scott said, it is about the collective. It's about us. It's about what kind of a place we make SR. I am intensely loyal to this place and I hope we can collectively get back to helping each other. That's why we're here.

Completely agree Anna :grouphug:

SR is like coming home at the end of the day. I know that the mods and greeters and admins aren't looking for thanks but...thank you.
