Still getting use to new weekend living 16 days no drinking. Physically feeling good, kinda sore since I been weight lifting like crazy. Haven't been doing too much but still productive due to the fact that I'm not drinking on the weekends anymore. I don't mind because I'm not feeling like crap on Sunday (which was usually the case and I'd get nothing done at all really). Still trying to get use to the not drinking (especially on weekends), but it hasn't been as tough as i thought it would be. Part of that has to do with the fact that the alcohol kinda beat me down. Not something I miss. Have a good day people. |
Weekend drinking was definitely my problem too. No hangovers definitely is nice. I'm always looking for things to do to. Be careful of sudden cravings and have a plan to deal with them. Congratulations on 16 days!!! |
thx and i will |
16 days is brilliant. Congratulations! |
16 days sober is great! |
If it were five months ago and I was still drinking, I would be feeling terrible right now. Planning only to take a nap later when I could. Laying around wasting the day. Fridays would be spent "washing away the week." Saturday mornings would be like Sunday mornings. Now I have a whole day ahead of me to do whatever I want, an to make the most of. Friday I came home and felt relaxed and decompressed with a soda as I played with my kids. Weekends are now far more fun than when I was drinking. |
Congrats on 16 days |
