Make Hope Wider Sober Weekender April 23rd Until....
Been warmer in London, saoutchik? They dye the river green here for St. Patrick's day but that is particularly vivid.
Wednesday. Mid week. Done assembling lunches and making toast for breakfast. I have it down. Now to get everyone dressed. After that? Who knows what the day holds. Have a good day!

ZaBoozer's Post #356 above got me diggin' around You Tube over my 1st Cuppa here...
I've always liked this Frampton Song, and I think the Refrain is really infectious. That's a good thing! Germane Lyrics re: Recovery...
Ooh baby, don't ever let it bring you down
Ooh baby, I'll pick you up on the ground...
A Story involving Da Wife, who shares Della's Hair Color...
We saw 'Ringo Starr's All Starrs' a Decade or two ago, and Frampton covered Lead Guitar duties that Tour. This aging Bass Player was amped to see Jack Bruce from 'Cream' on Bass. She was amped to relive some Hippie Chick Memories over Frampton. Our Seats were Waterproof.
I handed her the Binocs, and she asks: 'Who the Hell is the bald Guy'? A: 'Uh, Honey, that's Peter Frampton'. She was bummed, but got over it.
A lil B/W Video from - oh - ~40 years ago is linked below.
There once was the Day Of the Hump
When Sober, was merely a bump
There's nothing to dread
Great things lay ahead
Since I'm no zoned-out, sotted Chump
Burma Shave
'Balanced Rock' from Arches National Park near Moab 2 Weekends ago.
'Something's Happening' ~ Peter Frampton ~ Live

Maybe why Frampton is bald.
Brain has an awesome Wednesday post about waiting for life to happen and working like ants. Today work is like that. I hate not being busy at work but I can only work with what I'm given. I can't go seeking tasks. I guess I could work on some busy work while waiting. Is it lunch yet?

That's the hump day link Solarion.
I see the weekender thread as more of a week long hug or high five.
Peter Frampton is from South London so I know nothing about him obviously but I think Steve Mariott was a bad influence.
HaF/Della I'm going to have to Google "Gain"now as you have mentioned it a few times. I hope it's good ...

Had my first workout from my trainer Stu... Feel good. Putting myself into this. New muscles or did I just jot ever use them and so they are still in their original packages. Hmmmm
Everyone sounds great!
MM... Love that one!
Tomorrow morning we will have a new newbie weekender. Time to put some focus on the newest of our clan.
See you shotgunners in the morning!

I actually walked out on Peter Frampton. 1977 JFK Stadium Philadelphia PA.
Just after hi-scholl grageeyation. Dicky Betts, J Geils Band, Lynyrd Skynyrd,
Imagine a day of (long day for some young rockers) and Skynyrd just blows away the crowd after Betts and Jgeils rock the place - all headliners. Then Frampton comes out in a shiny jumpsuit and an acoustic guitar and starts with some girly tunes in front of 100,000 rocked out and tuned up concert goers. It was a buzz kill. I understand we missed a great show later, but that's what young stupid drunks do. Keep in mind we was still in the disco sux era and that outfit didn't help either.

Since shotgun is called by those of you up at the crack of dawn with the birds, I'll leave you to it.
Weasel, things in the original packaging can be just as good fifty years later. I loved that comment. My mother just gave me some twin sheets with pillow cases, still wrapped in their original plastic, that are oh, about fifty years old. I keep thinking 1964 wasn't all that long ago but I guess it is a half century.
Dang it. I'm exhausted and it's 9:45 and son still not in bed.
