Today iv made the choice to fight back and become sober. It's ruining my life and pretty sure already has taken my relationship.

Thank everyone for the encouraging words, today is day 2! Iv been an emotional wreck , just feeling so bad for all the horrible things I have done while drunk out of my mind. And why did it take so long for me to finally get here? You guys hell me so much thank you.

Happy to hear you're on Day 2. We know how hard it is to get started, but things will get easier.

I don't know why it took me so long either - in the end, my life was miserable. The fun times were long gone, and I had no control once it was in my system. Try not to dwell on regret & remorse - you will rise above the bad times & have a great new life.
