Six months clean and sober!!!!!

Hey all!!! Today is the day. I have now made it half of a year with no drugs or alcohol!!! This time last year, if someone had told me I would be where I am today, I would have laughed in their face. "I don't have a problem. I just like to have a good time!" is what I would have said.

I am now on my way to our state AA convention. How sweet of them to have it on the weekend of my 6 month anniversary!!! I get to pretend that the whole hoo-hah is all for me!!!

Hope this finds you all well. If not, hang in there--if I could do it, so can you!!! My love and thanks to all of you for your friendship and support. You have helped me more than you know!!

Congratulations on the 6 mo. Wow! That is some 180 + days mat a time. Amasing how it can add up by just keeping in the moment and taking care of ourselves as that particular moment may dictate. Let us know how the convention went.
