This is a lovely rose in front of my house that bloomed despite the storms last night. Beauty can flourish amidst the storms of life!

Beautiful. :) I have a lone red tulip in my backyard. It just popped up last week. It's also my favorite flower. It makes me smile

When I was drinking, I had no interest in small wonders like flowers. A bleak view of the world for sure.

Thanks Tonesof Home... I planted this rose bush in 2000 and it continues to bloom like mad in the spring! I started drinking in 2001 and have missed the joys of it's blooms for many years. The rose bush has been faithful however...as things in nature are. :)
