One week sober. But.

I finally made it to the 7 day mark. And it was ushered in by a headache, moodiness, fatigue and agitation.

I want to drink. But it's not an overwhelming urge. I'm home for the night but I'm worried a little about the two days I'm about to have off work. I'm going to have to stay real busy those days.

Seven days is something to be very proud of I Josh. I spent a year never making it past day 6. Your off to a fabulous start. Put a plan into place to stay busy to get yourself past your days off. If I may recommend, please read the post "what is a recovery plan" written by Dee 74. You need a plan that works for you my friend. You can do this man!

Hi there! I'm on day 13 now. I was a mess at day 7. I was really craving. It's slowly getting better. You can do it! I'm actually getting excited about being sober and it's wonderful!

Normal feelings on Day 7 Josh. Everything will improve as you go along. You're right, staying distracted and busy on days off is wise. Good that you're planning ahead. :)

Congrats on a week. What are you going to do with your two days?
