Day1, again. HELP!

Hi All,

I am on day one again.

Been Here many times. It never gets easier... I am scared, I am alone and isolated. Been on H for a long time. I am 34, desperately want to get to the otherside.

Any advice or support would be greatly appreciated.:a108:

Sitting at work, get the sweats and shivers. God I hate this.

Hi.
When we apply the desire to stop drinking it is very feasible for all to attain sobriety, it gets easier with each passing day, that’s not saying it’s easy.
There is much help here, read and posting is a way to help us get and stay sober.
I post things newcomers don’t want to hear or like because of not knowing what we don’t know.

I became desperate and wanted to stop drinking, I finally got honest with myself about MY drinking, I accepted the fact that I cannot drink in safety one day at a time in a row.
Then came the work of change, the reasons I drank and how to turn them around with practicing the program again one day at a time.
Yes there are other methods but I have high doubts as to the recovery longevity as a result of many being softer copy cat ventures. I look at recovery that’s measured in more than 10 years, more like 20. This is in consideration that we are all chronic alcoholics. JMO, after a lot of sober years in recovery.

You can do it!

BE WELL

Day one is a good place to start your journey :-)

I'm on day three after relapsing and I just keep thinking "I never need to have another day one again".

Be kind to yourself and get a plan in place!
