Restless

Posting so i can share it
Just back from seeing my mum at nursing home ( she's weak and fading), things but tense with wife and don't know if i can handle another three hour long bedtime routine with my beautiful, lively son.

Itching to go out.. Scared if i get in the car ill go to a pub rather than AA.. Posting here, then going to lean into the experience.. Deep breaths

Feeling better now 😊

Your addiction is restless...let it fret.

You can get through this without drinking. Once you get past it, it will be easier the next time.
