Campaign to find Trach a new signature line
"The Turtle Moves!" ~ Terry Pratchett (Mayherestinpeace)
Discworld is borne through space upon the backs of four great elephants. Great a'Tuin, the sky turtle carries this weight endlessly, steering the course of narrativum through the universe, avoiding collision with other planets. Turtles always make me think of Discworld for this reason but oddly much my next thought:
I can imagine Forrest Gump saying "A turtle is as a turtle does"
The current signature is certainly unique though & I think the campaign has merits, especially in regard to raising awareness of turtles.
Driving my wagon of hope through beautiful views on my road to myself

I am in awe of this peace I have found.
SR. Is so cool I continue to visit and never fail to be distracted from my navel gazing.
The same can be said of Discworld and a number of other places that exist in my mind making them as real as I am.
The Discworld novel 'Small Gods' is basically about a once great God, named Om. He has only one true believer left on the disc so when he feels the need to manifest himself to the lower mortals the previously mighty powers had dwindled, along with all but the faith of the one individual who finds it very difficult indeed to believe that the God he worships in his head is, in reality and right now, the shape and usefulness of a small turtle/tortoise.
Did I mention thinking of Discworld when thinking of turtles?

Sober Turtle's having fun.
Watching clouds in the sky.
Being smartshell, enjoying sun,
Staying happy, clean and dry.

There is nothing new under my shell.

Well ther are a few I find to be the funniest and a few that are quite eloquent. I won't say as this is all for Mr. Trach. But I am having fun seeing the creativity!
