Life Well Lived
It's a beautiful Saturday and I'm at the park with my son, playing basketball. I'm taking a break and sitting here with the sun shining down on me. The birds are singing.
Normally on a day like today I'd be on the couch, a couple glasses in, watching Netflix in the dark. Missing out on life.
God is feels good to be sober. God it feels good to have broken free of the Matrix.

The Matrix is a false reality. But it's all you know. Sort of like Plato's cave. Imagine if for your entire life, since birth, you've been chained in place, in a cave. Your only sense of reality is the shadows on the cave wall. You'd have no idea what real life was.
