ten days sober including two nights away on business

Happy to say I survived my business trip. Two nights in a hotel alone. This board really helped. I am feeling very positive now. It was nice to wake up in a hotel room without a hangover. I finally feel like I can actually do this. I started writing a novel. I'm sure it will never be published but I use it as something to occupy my mind. Good luck everyone. I'll post after 1 month sober.

Congrats, SB! Like you and others hotel rooms on the road are (were?) incredibly challenging. Not nearly as difficult now. I still try to have a plan in place but it really has gotten easier. Keep up the great work and congrats again.
