Just saying hi.

Just wanted to check in to say hi to all the people who know what's going on with me. Thanks for all your support during my last "episode" lol. I'm still not sober unfortunately and really been seeing the ugly side of life lately. The worst part is the crazy element I find myself associateing with. People who make me look normal. Lol. Anyway. That's all. Sorry. Might give the sober thing a shot again here soon. Thanks guys!!!

I'm not familiar with your story, Dave, but I'm back for the third or fourth time in more than four years myself. Sometimes it just takes awhile. Looking forward to your return when you're ready!

I'm not sure what that is man. A sober plan I mean. I'm not sure I can ever be 100 percent sober. I feel like it's just minimizing the damage these days.

The longer you stay out the there the harder it will be to get back Dave...and the more chance of you getting into some serious deep do do.

What's stopping you from putting the bottle down?

D

I am really worried about you Dave. My AV was also really awesome at the, "I'll get sober...tomorrow". Tomorrow kept coming and years went by. It wasn't until I decided to take matters into my own hands and committed myself to being sober that I finally got sober. I came to the realization that if I kept promising myself to get sober "tomorrow", I wasn't ever going to get sober. I hope you realize your AV is doing the same thing.

I hope to see you around here sooner rather than later.

We all have to take some abuse. Self abuse is very much avoidable though. Ultimately your choice though.

Stay well

You can only do sober 100%, anything less is still drinking. And you can be sober if you want to, anyone can. You just have to make the decision and do the work.

No I get it. Right now 100 percent abstinence seems crazy to me. Idk. I'm kinda in the fence about that.

Sounded crazy to me too. Looking back though, the crazy thing was the damage I did to myself and those around me by drinking.

You do know this though, we all did. The difference is making the choice to do it.
