3rd sober Saturday

The past 2 have been pretty hard. I went out for dinner last night with the kids to an Italian restaurant. I only noticed last night after I came home that I hadn't even hardly thought about alcohol.It felt good being sober with the kids, chatting and eating and not worried about whether I had enough booze in house to last me to get zombiefied. Sobriety is good. It was a nice feeling. I am hoping today is a bit easier too. Just a Saturday morning thought as I am feeling fresh and calm. Hope it lasts today! Have a great weekend friends, and remember you are not alone.

weekends are tough. everyone wants to socialise. hang In there tomtom, next weekend will be easier

Good job! thats really great -hang in there. i'm new to the whole no drinking on the weekend thing so i can't comment on my own experience. this weekend will be a first for me. kind of strange to not be tossing back the shots.
