I can't run, but I walk my dogs at least once a day when the weather is decent. Walking my dogs is the joy of my life.

Congrats on 82 days sober!

I run too. It's been one of the most positive things in my past and probably saved me from plunging even deeper into alcohol than I had without it.

If you're concerned you're overdoing it, could you include some walks, or other activities? Congratulations on 82 days!

Way to go! I have a visual image of Forest Gump!

I don't run, but I play tennis 6 - 8 hours per week. I'm getting pretty good!

Running and bike riding...feeling the breeze is in your face is a soothing feeling. Weird but soothing. Whatever gets the job done right...right?

Awesome! I got a treadmill in my house about the same time as quitting the drink. I'm too much of a creampuff to go out in the cold.

Running is the bomb-diggaty of tools in my sober toolbox! I've carved out a new 4 mile path in my neighborhood, and I am enjoying timing myself every morning on this same route, "crashing through the yellow tape in my head" as I beat each previous day by a few more seconds. Run on and rock on!
