6 months clean
Hi. I'm 6 months clean. I went to a great treatment center for 3 months. I feel great and look great. I will say it took me a long time to understand that I cannot have just one drink. That I cannot drink at dinner. Now that I have more time invested i am becoming obsessed with the thought again of drinking. I even had a dream about it last night. I seem to forget that even though I feel great right now I will not stay in the same mind frame. I will start to get mean, suspicious, hyper, spend a lot of money and want to get other drugs. I will drive drunk, be up all night and in the morning wake up with anxiety that I'll want another drink to calm my nerves or something to calm me down. That is of course if i fall asleep.
So how's that for playing the tape out! Whew!!
