Had to reach the point of no return..

That was tough to read. It is such a struggle for us all at times. However, I am encouraged by your fearless confrontation of reality and willingness to do what is necessary no matter what. Keep moving forward, one safe step at a time.

Rigorous honesty.... right there. I can hear it in your posts and you're going to find your way back. I've quietly followed your story and you are strong, resourceful, intelligent and intuitive woman whose posts on SR have consistently inspired me. I'm really rooting for you, Jen.
Thank you all so much for your kind words. I feel I have finally reached a place where I am accepting of the fact that I am an alcoholic.
The amount of time I have wasted fightng against this fact is ridiculous.
It is what it is.
Time to get on with it. I can either let it define me or I can move forward with purpose. I know which one feels better.
Day 4 and all is well x
