Hi everyone. I'm new here and fresh out of a dangerous relationship. After talking with a few close friends, I realize that I'm a very codependent person. The relationship that recently ended was with an alcoholic, sociopathic type of man. The past 2 years have been the worst of my life (with him), and now that I'm away from him I feel pretty lost. I don't quite understand all that's happened, or is happening but I'm trusting my friends and am here to learn. I'm optimistic that I can make changes within myself after learning more about why all that's happened has.
If anyone could point me in the right direction, I'd really appreciate it.
