My daghter is in Florida!
My 17 year old daughter lives in Orlando with my ex-wife. I have still not been able to get in contact with her in the wake of hurricane charlie.
The phone lines are still down and power is out in a lot of the surrounding areas. I hope and pray she and my ex-wife are alright!

Tom;
My sister is in Fl and much of the area has lost electricity. She lives in Naples, and they expect to be without electricity for a week or so.
One thing for sure, if anything BAD had happened, you would have heard by now.
Try to take a deep breath, and know that it is in G*D's hands. Try to do something for yourself, to take your mind off of the event. If you are anything like me, you are plotting out in your mind all the worst senerios there could be, right?
Don't fall for the trap of dispair! Sometimes, no news is GOOD news!
You daughter, you and your ex are all in my prayers right now.
Shalom!

Tom from what I have seen on the news, Orlando wasn't hit all that bad as the coast. Just have many areas without power. Put it in God's hands and let Him do the worry for you.

Power has been coming on for a lot of folks down here today. They announced the toll roads will be charging again tomorrow morning. All schools are now back in, even the ones with damage. So I would suspect you could probably get in touch with them now.
I live an hour south east of Orlando. My husband had to go out the day after the hurricane as part of his job and check bridges and road conditions. This area didn't get hit bad at all. I'm sure your loved ones are fine!
