It is what it is
It is what it is
:wink2: thanx for your support to last night's msg. Things have to get better from here. I hope. Anyway, I also found out yesterday from going to my counselor that my drinking may be in part to blame for my son's ADHD. (I drank heavily and smoked pot for the 1st 6 weeks. I wasn't aware I was pregnant. After I found out, I stopped.) Nice way to begin the day. I don't think I could've felt more rotten. Anyway, to my internet friends I leave you with this -
"You may be only one person in the world, but you may also be the world to one person".
This is what you guys mean to me. Thanxs again for the continued support.

Hi Marie,
Guilt is a difficult burden to carry with us, but it's so very hard to put aside and move on. My children are grown and I drank for about 3 years when they were teenagers. I have been able to put aside some of the guilt I've carried, but not all of it. It's hard!
The best thing you can do is to try to help your son with his ADHD any way you can. Do the best for him that you can do now.
We're all here to support each other because this journey is not always easy.
Love, Anna
