My day #1

Hello everyone! Today I accept that I have a problem with alcohol and how it has taken an unhealthy hold on my life. I've gone around for awhile now in denial that I really have a problem telling myself I have it under control. Well I don't. Last night I drove drunk to get more beer. I didn't get caught and I didn't hurt anyone but I drove instead of walking a few blocks. That's my final straw I need to get it together.

So today is my day #1. I know I'm in for a rough ride for awhile but with support I'll make it through.

I have a couple teas that are real relaxing. I'm changing my schedule a bit to work later at night instead of being home drinking. I can hit the treadmill here as well. That's always a good way to get some frustration out.

Yesterday was my Day 1!! Hang in there! I just joined this forum as well since I know I have a problem and need lots of support from people who have been there. Congrats on making a decision to change today!
