The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt

For starters, this Netflix original is hilarious and amazing. Funny as it is, I didn't expect to learn anything from it. But in one of the episodes the main character teaches two other characters how to deal with boredom, anxiety, and stress. And it's helped. Basically, if you can make it through ten seconds, you can make it through the next ten. It's really just another way of "counting to ten."

When I get cravings, I count to ten. If I still have them, I count to ten again. But by the third time I usually realize how ridiculous I'm being, and I'm good for another 30. It might seem desperate or sad, but that's where I am, and many others are.
