Way to go with the water. I can still smell and taste vodka after four years sober.
It's a big favorite of the sierious drinker.
That doean't mean I want any of it. Vodka is rank and makes me puke, too.
Hang in there. Drinking water myself. Love the stuff, and it won't ruin my health, make me sick or worse.
Best to you.

Vodka.... yeah.

I remember waking up, vomiting in the sink, and then guzzling vodka... vomiting again, then guzzling more.

Just to be able to function one horribly-memorable morning.

Vodka; glamorous stuff, all right.

Stick with the water.

water is my friend

Oh Vodka was on the menu for me the weekend...
I've only just managed to get out of bed a couple of hours ago. Three days lost of the weekend....barly remember it....and 3 days lost in the pit. ****.

I watched a documentary yesterday on youtube. It's the first one that comes up when you type in "alcoholism" (drugged-high on alcohol). That and the weekend has put me right off....feel like puking thinking about it.

Yuck! I think I just got a phantom wiff. Vodka smells like a horrible hangover to me now.
Food and water sound much better.

Nice work!

I was a Vodka guy. When I smell it now, it smells like loss.

Phoenix before the cravings hit again why not make a plan of action? In early sobriety it really helps to have a plan of what you will do at the times you used to drink, thinking about a craving and white knuckling it is very hard.

Do you have an old hobby or interest that you'd like to take up? Or perhaps you have something new you'd like to do? Directing our thoughts really helps.

I really like you phoenix. You always say what you mean.

Also, vodka makes you grow hair on your palms and you'll fart like a hell hound. Donchaknow?
