Maybe I'm Just Sick

Having a tough time waking up this morning. Breakfast, coffee, tall glass of water, usually I'm ready to get at the day by now. Mind is still foggy, feeling physically run-down. Just want to lay back down and take it easy.

I haven't been sick while sober yet. Maybe this is it? So weird that I can't tell if I'm sick or not. Guess I'll go lay down for a while and see how I feel later.

Feel better, SDH.

Be kind and gentle with yourself today.

Oh, and yesterday I was feeling a bit weird. Not necessarily bad, just "off". I remember thinking that this staying sober thing is affecting me in such strange ways. Today is that x2. Slight headache. Exhausted. Yeah, must be fighting something.

Hey SDH, hope you feel better, I am under the weather myself. I am more tired and depressed. I couldn't shut my mind off yesterday, when it was time for me to go to bed I couldn't. Went to bed around 5am. Only have 5 hours a sleep, maybe I will take a nap today around 2 today with my 4 year old. However, its so hard for him to get him to lay down to take nap.

Anyways, SDH get well and hope to see you around.

I am sorry you feel bad and hope you can get some rest.

I honestly laughed while reading this. I was "off" about a month ago and it took me a few days to realized I was sick.

Its crazy the state we got use to our bodies being in.

I hope you feel better soon.

Thanks, guys! I'm just wondering if this is yet another "wrinkle" in the getting sober process or if I'm actually physically ill. People who haven't spent so much time hungover seem to KNOW when they're sick. *oh, well*

Axiom: That's kind of my point! Feeling so bad for so long, I just don't know what to make of feeling physically poor without drinking being the cause.

Recuperate and rest. Hopefully you have a day of work off and you can just lounge on the couch with some good Netflix. Take it easy SD. Feel better soon.

Feel better soon. Lots of rest and hydration. At the onset of a cold my wife is a proponent of taking zinc; she swears it cuts down the length and severity of a cold. Just so you know, she's not a medical professional just someone who has observed this in herself.

Thanks, guys. Soberwolf, I'm not sure a visit to the dr is necessary. Think I'll just rest and take it easy.

Maybe not the best idea, but I did manage to get in a good workout. I just feel nasty if I don't get my exercise.

Feeling REALLY hungry, probably stuff my face and then lay down in front of the tv for a few hours.
