Don't know if this will help you or not but whenever I have the thought in my head that it'd be nice to have a drink right now, I play the story to the end in my head. I make myself think not about that first drink but about the last, the last drink where I am drunk, sloppy and sick. Think about waking up at 3am sick and how that feels. I think about how I'll feel in the morning. It's enough to turn the voice off for me.
