Why does the media still tell people that vodka doesn't stink to high heaven?

My nose Def has become very sensitive I'm an ex smoker (7 years 9 months) I can smell it from a km distance lol I have a work colleague that smells really bad like sweat (BO) it's driving me nuts when we all work in a small place! My other colleagues reckon it's not as bad as it used to be. I disagree. But must be my smell improving here.
