Update from dr visit
Day 17! Went to the dr this morning. I told her I quit drinks and she was very pleased and gave me a hug on the way out. I told her I wanted to wean off zoloft and she was supportive. Gave me a tapering plan. I ask her for Xanax as a "security blanket" and she was so fine with that. I didn't lose any weight but didn't gain any either. But she told me that sometimes when people quit drinking or smoking they gain at first bit 3-6 months I should see improvement (of course if I'm trying). She ordered blood work for follow up. (My liver enzymes were little high but not too high to concern her) She said after 16 days sober, we should see improvement. I can't believe how fast things are changing in just 16 days sober. My family life has drastically improved as well. I never thought that things would change so rapidly when becoming sober. Excited and thankful for another day!

Awesome news! My enzymes were slightly high the first round to , I go in next week for a recheck ...

Great job on 16 days!

I'm trying to make an appointment to go see the doc about these abdominal pains I've been experiencing for quite awhile now. They are on the upper right side. I'm guessing liver or pancreas. I've heaped a lot of abuse on both.

Wish I wasn't so d@mned stupid.

JD, call now and make the appointment. You will feel better about getting checked out.

Keep up the good work, but be careful with the xanax. Benzo drugs are really sneaky if misused.

Yes justin I'm being careful. I told her I only wanted it for ER panic attacks which is why she didn't mind. I will only take it is needed. It's more of a security blanket
