Why do they do this?

I dunno?

What is happening?

I wish you the best. If it does not feel right at first, that's normal, if it lingers, move on. 1-2 weeks is a good sponsor trial. And don't worry, they, like you, are a dime a dozen and I mean that in a humble supportive good luck...g

I thought the same thing when my sponsor was having me do stuff. I was being very stubborn. He is just trying to help you learn and grow to better yourself. Do that dang homework! I'm glad I did!

Hi.
That’s awesome! It’s evidenced around here with all the relapses that some are expecting to have all the good things to happen just because we stopped drinking and do no work and changes to continue sobriety. Many of those that do sit in the back row “denial isle.”
Enjoy the ride you will enjoy the benefits.

BE WELL
