50 big ones!
Just checked my calendar and realized that today is my 50th consecutive day sober. Yay, me!

Not too much has changed in that time period, just little things that add up. Sleeping better, feeling better (most of the time). Have incorporated exercise and reading into my everyday routine. Not stuttering or forgetting how to string words together to create coherent sentences anymore. The right side of my face, which remained splotchy and red for a while after quitting, is showing much improvement and I'm hoping that it will clear up completely given a few more weeks.

I can say with absolutely no uncertainty that this my longest period of sobriety in at least 12 years, probably closer to 20.

Thanks to everyone here for all the support, and here's to another 50! (holding up my glass of water)

And the hits keep coming! Just jumped on the scale before showering, I've lost close to 20 pounds! Bring on the beach weather!

Ha Ha Ha I'm with you all the way SDH73. I'm on 65 (I think). It's been hard but so worth it

I'm a bit jealous of you for losing 20lbs tho - think I've edged the other way a bit
