OH AV ecided He Wanted A Chat!!!
Well, I'm 6 or 7 months in & for some bizarre reason AV awoke this afternoon... I have no idea why as I havnt heard from him for 4 or months... Managed to beat him with a big stick & 5 minutes later he settled down.. No real trigger, normal day for me working... Just kept reminding myself this will last 5 minutes where as the withdrawal would be 3-4 days if I had caved!!! Being sober is easy compared to getting off the drink... Just thought I would share as I was quite surprised that the little bstard showed up... Wishing you all a happy, sunny & of course a guilt free weekend!!

Yes I found too (last time i was at 6-7 months) it was so easy to stay Sober. The only thing you have to watch out for is the AV saying you have Sobriety down pat, that's when you "think" you can go back - big mistake! Good job on kicking his arse - don't ever let him whisper sweet nothings in your inner ear

Thanks for this thread! I've been sober for 7 weeks and I haven't heard much from my AV other than passing thoughts which have been easily shut down.
This is a reminder that I need to stay vigilant and not let my guard down. Thanks again!
