Here are some things to think about....
When you're thinking you may not be able to make it....
You've made it here Today.
When you're thinking you may want to go back to that life of addiction....
Go watch the sun rise or set and open your heart to it's beauty. Why would you want to miss that?
When you're thinking "Maybe I could have just one...."
Why would you even want to? Life is wonderful all on its own. Even if you 'could' have just one - what the hell is the point? Are you drinking for the flavor? Choose another flavor. For the calories? Drink some sugar water. For the poison? WHY DO YOU WANT TO DRINK POISON??? C'mon. You don't really want to just drink one.
When you're thinking you'll never get sober....
Remember that I thought that too. And so did everyone who's ever gotten sober. We all did it, and so will you.
When you're thinking "What's the point"?
You will discover the point over and over, again and again, in a million million different ways, new and old, for the rest of your life and it will be absolutely amazing.
