How do you Recognise and deal with stress without alcohol?

Hi all,

Im 99 days sober today.

I feel like I going well a lot better now ive passed the 3 month mark. But its painfully slow this recovery bizzo..

How do you recognize and deal with stress without alcohol?

This is my major challenge that im dealing with now..

So far I:

X listen to Holosync meditation

X Do reiki

X take valerian

X lie down in the bedroom where its quiet and dark

X pull the guitar out (need to do more)

X 20 min walk on treadmill

X play clash of kings

All of those sound cool - I'd add exercise in there too tho for me.

Not sure what you mean by 'how to recognise stress' tho Justin?

Mine is always pretty obvious?

My stress or anxiety I think comes in physical forms. This past week stress has been some minor chest tightness and I seem to be breaking out with white pimples on the left side of my forehead which almost never happens; I feel like I look like a freaking teenager all over again lol.

Before getting addicted I used to workout for fun. People would complain about all these physical symptoms that I would never feel because I was really healthy. I stopped working out and drank more. Now I feel what people were talking about and I hate it. I want to get back into it but it has been difficult; although I worked out tonight.
