so i was sober for 5 days last week, drank at the weekend and managed to be sober monday and tuesday night now. last night i really didnt want to drink but it was largely thanks to my son for helpfully gabbing to me all night so, yay, made it!
i am proud of last night more than the others put together because yesterday was particularly stressful but i got there. hopefully i will have a nice normal day tomorrow and will be able to just enjoy the peace and quiet of a night alone-without beer!
is this classed as 2 days sober or 7? just wondering because saying '7 days' to myself will have a more positive effect but i don't want to cheat(!)

I would say it's 2 days sober, sorry.

Drinking occasionally is not the same thing as sobriety and recovery.

However, it's your journey and you can count the days any way that works for you.
