....Then Today is a beautiful, blessed day.

Because regardless whether you went to bed drunk or sober last night; you're here NOW.

Because regardless how many days or weeks or months it's been - Today you have another shot at living life to the fullest.

Because whether or not you really 'get it' yet - you're here Today and that means you want to.

Because even if you feel like you've failed.... even if you feel like you've done it AGAIN... even if you secretly wonder if you'll ever stay sober.... Right Now you're reading these words and that in itself is proof that you can, you will, you're on the right track.


If you are reading this, take a moment to pat yourself on the back, embrace whatever emotion you brought into this thread; 'good', 'bad', 'uncertain'..... for all of them are part of Being Human. Give yourself the compassion and the empathy and the Love to recognize that all of us are learning and growing into the best Human Being we can.... none of us are perfect, and Today holds the promise of Tomorrow.
