New and Searching
I am new to this site and am trying to seek out some people to talk with and maintain a bit of correspondence as I am new to the area and recently returned to Recovery. I hope this site is something fun and interesting.

thanks for the replies, this seems like a real good place to keep up with this program im working and some people seem like they have some words of wisdom i can definitely benefit from. hope to keep hearing from all of you on a consistent basis.

Hi.
This is a good place to gather AND put info into action. When I got sober there was no internet and AA was the big show in town with personal intercourse by way of sharing and helping each other stay away from the first drink one day at a time in a row.
There are some strong suggestions I received when new that are still very valuable, like em or not.
I needed to get honest with myself about my drinking AND accept the fact that I cannot drink alcohol one day at a time in a row.
Because so many of us are undisciplined I needed to go to a lot of meetingS for repetition and other pearls I didn’t get from watching TV. I didn’t know what I didn’t know!
There were things I didn’t like that worked so I sucked it up, better that being a miserable drunk or DEAD.
