2 months sober
Yesterday was 2 months sober for me! Yay! I am not working, it's been almost 5 months since the Drs made that decision, no chance of returning they say.My bipolar is too hard to control. Work for me was terrifying & to try to go back now would make me too nervous to concentrate on anything.The only meds that help make me very tired. Got my first denial from social security yesterday. Even though it was expected the first time I am in a panic that I won't ever get approved. I worry way more than I should I guess. I'm so glad to have alcohol out of my life, one less headache to deal with. I'm still exited to wake up each day to see what the day holds.God bless you all,Mike

Congratulations on two months, Mike; well done. I am very happy for you.
I hope that things work out with your application for disability status; I, too, have heard that first submissions have a high denial rate.
