Trust

I'm wondering if it is common early in quitting to be distrustful of other humans? I've been very paranoid the last few times I've quit and feel (logically or illogically) that nobody is to be trusted. With the clarity of sobriety it seems I only see the selfishness of others more.

I was mistrustful of people while I was drinking, and that carried over into early recovery a little.

Eventually tho that dark outlook I had on thing lifted with a little sober time.
I hope it will for you too Tang :)

Tang, sometimes when we remove the alcohol, we are left with strong emotional responses for awhile.. they should subside in time. It's also okay to have a thought or emotion and not act on it.
