I'm so proud of you Briar! Once you lie about the reason for going out you've already put a drinking plan in motion, and that can be really hard to turn around - trust me I know all about that. Great work on coming here and hats off for turning it around!

Good job, Briar! Always keep stuff in the cupboard or fridge that will help you out in a craving -- for me it's butter & crackers, Earl Grey, & ice cream. And I hope you tell your husband about this challenge today. I find it a royal pain ever to mention my alcoholism to my husband, but sometimes it's helped me stay sober to know that he'd know if I drank & I'd catch hell from him.
