On my drinking, I was thinking: this is the longest run without booze I have had in about 2 years. A psychiatrist was telling me I needed to be off booze for 30 days before she could assess me. Anyway I told her that I completed 30 days and to hurry up and give me medicine. I am glad she didn't because I was lying to her. She said she needed to see my daily journal and I didn't take it.

I had only completed 16 days. So this is the longest no streak so far and everyday it gets longer

Honesty is the best policy, good for you. If you lie at A.A. or to counselors it won't get you any where.
