Hello and welcome, you'll find lots of support here.
My drinking was out of control, too. For many years. I was so bad I saw the end of my life coming from alcohol and still drank.
You can make it through today. It may be hard, but you can do it. Try not to think of a week or month from now, just take it one day at a time. I can handle one day.

What to do about it lyes therein. One day at a time and for me beleife that a power greater than myself could restore me to sobriety. It's been working for over four years now, and I was a raving alcoholic.
You can do it. Many of us here are through different means, but with the same problem and goal to stop drinking.
Best to you and I hope to here more from you.

Hi Celeste, welcome to Sober Reflections. I too joined initially on the spur of a (drunken) moment, and it was a couple of weeks before I even spoke up. I found very quickly that alot of the answers I was looking for were here - you will find that, as well as all the support you need.

I too found this site before I quit. I learned so much and got so much hope from reading other's words. It truly helped me and continues to do so. I knew I was an alcoholic but really didn't want stop drinking.

Glad you are here. Stick around. Great people who have been there before.
