First night out!
 

Ok first kinda night out tonight. Not too worried as its only bingo (feel like an old woman but hey I like it lol) and luckily the 2 friends I'm with don't tend to drink so it's a good taster first night (excuse the pun). Bit nervous tho as they have a bar and I know ppl around me may be drinking. Don't have my daughter tonight either and still off work so would normally be right on it. Just going to concentrate on my cards and try not to focus too much on what ppl around me are doing and hope cravings don't kick in too much :-/

Hey just waiting for my friend to get ready and be going in a bit. I suppose just the same as when I'm at home really. Just keep telling myself why I'm doing it and keep mindful of that. I'm lucky too I'm out with my friend who has always been really supportive and encouraged me to give up so they won't encourage me, in fact they will discourage me if I got tempted. Just going to stay aware and ride the cravings xx

There now. Not too bad so far. Aware of the bar but my friends are drinking coke too and the youngest apart from us are about 70 lol so not exactly a wild night haha. Xx

Sounds familiar , the family and I went out to a local pizza place last night that has a bar...As I gnawed on my wangs and sucked back a few diet cokes , the smell and essence of beer was in the air coming over from the bar!! Apparently I had a strange look because my 12 year old kept saying "Whats wrong with Dad???!!" ..All i could say was "nothing....don't worry about me!" as I just kept staring at the TV's around , trying not to think about that barley-hop aroma ...

Good Luck and stay focused and you'll be fine! If I could escape unscathed and sober , you can to , trust me , because I am a big ole wimp when it comes to refusing beer...Though I manage to do so somehow...Hang in there...

Hey how's your night going so far?

There's a woman in front of me who won a loada money so they've given her a bottle of wine but she's not drinking it and it just sitting there in front of me its driving me crazy. Want to get away but then don't want to go home to an empty house either :-( would be enjoying this so much more if I could have a drink when I get home :-( hate this. Wish she would just drink it or move it!!!!!

Jg can you speak to a friend about going for some food if you want to leave that way your with someone
