It sounds to me like you are made of the right stuff and you have a good head on your shoulders. You know you want to be present -- especially for your baby boy. He needs his mommy. You only have one chance to be there for him now and that's right now. It's not the sixth, or the fifth or the third drink that gets you. It's that first sip. Don't take that one and being drunk can be nothing more than a bad memory.

You go, girl. I wish everyone that comes on here wanting to get sober had as much going for them already as you do.

Take comfort in the fact that each day we don't drink we make living amends to our loved ones and soon you will find a healthy way to let go of your past mistakes. You may have done some bad things - we all did - but you're not a bad person.
