Hello!

I'm Sensorium and I'm a chronic masturb

Oh wait wrong group... Well I spent the last two years drinking more and more until I found myself taking down 3 pints of cheap vodka a day. I'm 23, I'm a dude, and I woke up in the hospital Christmas Eve of 2014 with a ruined 2 year relationship, totaled car, liver damage, two criminal charges, and was not invited to come home. Gave me enough reason to not drink anymore... I'll be at two months sober in 8 days. I suppose I probably could have joined sooner, but I was a mess for a while and probably wouldn't have been a great presence on here. I've been having talks with people with past and present alcohol issues and it's just got me thinking. I still think about how in the heck I lost control like that. AA groups are not my thing. Tried a few different ones, hated it. I think this will do better for me.

I'll be around. Here. c:

Welcome Sense and congrats on your continued sobriety. Hopefully as your sober time builds your past problems shrink. Lots of support here.

Welcome and thanks for the laugh with your opening line. I had similar consequences from drinking. A string of broken relationships, job loss, police run-ins, health scares. I didn't get help until I was 34 so be proud of yourself for reaching out before you waste any more years.
