Texas AA
I went to my first AA meeting today since moving here. It was a great, friendly, open group and it was the best meeting I have ever attended.
People really talked about their lives and their feelings as it related to the topic.
Thank you for encouraging me. I sure was nervous.
Happy Valentine's Day everyone.

Will you be going again Beach?
Good for you.
I think you did something really brave doing that.
Don't ever underestimate what you did will you?
I hope this is another part of your new life in Texas and brings you more happiness and companionship.
Wishing you the best xx

Hi Beach,
I saw Texas AA and smiled inside! We're going to be in San Antonio for a few days before our cruise this summer. This will be my 3rd summer in recovery too. We love to attend meetings while on our trips. While we all follow the Big Book etc., each meeting has their own style & pace. Looking forward to meeting our new friends in Texas!
