I've woken up now and I'm relieved for not drinking but tired and am lay in bed wondering how I navigate through this day and what I can do to get through?

Hi Stewy,

It's great signing in to see that you made it through yesterday and last night without drinking. As far as today goes.....you're probably gonna feel better anyway, but soberwolf's advice sounds like a great start. If you were here I'd recruit you as my running buddy this afternoon. Hope you have some time in the sun today!

Great job man! Knocked it out of the park!

In terms of navigating through the day, try just focusing on little tasks one at a time.

Sometimes what works for me is just going for a long walk, preferably around nature. Something very meditative and calming about it.

Well done friend you got through a rough patch, you can chalk that up as a victory and remember it in case you ever feel low again.

Stewy84, I was so glad to log in this lunchtime and read that you went to bed sober. Great stuff!

It is also good to read your last post where you sound a lot more positive. Keep it up!

Do see your doctor this week too, see if any of your treatment needs reviewing.
